India is a country where every shade of skin lives  with all the freedom. But in these lives a shade which is on the edge of not being accepted as a colour of joy love and freedom.

Living in 21st century I cannot believe that still people still do racisim. I am also dusky, so in days of my childhood I was a much more duskier and I used to have a great insecurity regarding this , and people also used to tease me with names like black beauty, chocolate ,they used to avoid me. One incident that shook me  completely was that one of the girl in my class didn’t shook hands with me as she was afraid of getting a darker skin tone by touching me.

This is my story but unlike me there are thousands of stories hidden in the room of insecurity, fear of being accepted or not. I want to ask all people that what is so wrong in our colour that we have to fight at every step of life

I believe this is not about any colour it is all about the mentality of people who treat us differently.
